A family resort

Summer is also a wonderful time for families to get away from it all… The resort has the Famille Plus label which groups selected accommodation, restaurants and leisure venues where your kids will be made to feel completely at home!

Throughout the summer, there are activities available for children of all ages.  You can leave your younger children in the small creche of Ilot Doudous with total peace of mind.  The older ones can have fun and make new friends in the la Tranche sur Mer leisure centre where there are many outdoor activities: crafts, photography, rock pool fishing … Children love it !

What about doing something together with your children?  Throughout the summer, la Tranche sur Mer organises free sport weeks open to everyone.  Football, volleyball, badminton, everything you need to have fun on the beach.

Weather overcast?  No problem…. go to the new games library to enjoy the many games available either there or to take away.  The Côte de Lumière library, the Auniscéane swimming pool and the Agnes Varda cinema are excellent ways to forget the bad weather….

Floralies Park has free summer activities such as magic, story telling and finding out about the bees in its educational bee-hive.  A perfect end to an afternoon!  For animal lovers, there are pony rides and donkeys, goats and chickens can be seen in an enclosure at the end of the park.  Every evening there is free entertainment and concerts in the town centre square as well as in the Grière and la Terrière areas.

For children with sea legs, Optimist sailing, windsurfing and surfing lessons and courses are available from the many water sport schools in the resort.
